long weekend in a nutshell

Thursday - waltzed into my mothers home for turkey dinner with complete and total disregard for anything closely relating points or diet. It turned out to be a long and arduous day of pretending not to be insulted or hurt and otherwise trying to ignore the perceived feeling of being on "the shit list" put forth by at least 1/2 of my family. Finally when the dust settled I decided that I would stay the night at my mothers and also discovered that in my perceived feelings, I was not alone. It was confirmed by my immediate family that there was an apparent feeling of "off-ness" and it was directed toward me. I know why, and not for nothing I really don't think it is justified on their end.

Friday - spent the entire day at my mothers laying around and napping. I really did quite enjoy doing a whole lot of nothing.

Saturday - Put up our christmas lights and christmas tree, spent the rest of the afternoon playing Zelda. Topped the evening off with some chinese food and a trip to the mall. More specifically Victoria's Secret where I was able to buy some ultra happy hipster undies. FINALLY I can fit into their size L (their hipsters don't come in XL). It was good feeling!

Sunday - Sat around some more, planned my baking strategies and played some more Zelda. Topped the evening with a viewing of Breakfast at Tiffany's, which I had never ever seen before. It was OK, not super duper fantastic though.
